When Human Resources e-mails you that they will have a phone interview tomorrow in regards to your resume, what does that mean? Do they just want to further clarify my responsibilities or experiences? I appreciate your help. Thank you! =)

It means you have a first interview, via phone. Don't get hung up on the literal phrase "in regards to your resume", because OF COURSE it's in regards to your resume, AND in regards to your interest in the job. They might ask you about your resume - probably, in fact - but the main thing here is, YOU HAVE AN INTERVIEW. CONGRATS!

Now, PREPARE! Why are you interested in the job and the company? What have you done that indicates an ability to perform the duties of the job? What professional achievement(s) are you most proud of, and how did you pull it off? (Make sure your answers are relevant to the job you are applying for.)

Knock 'em dead!

They actually mean a phone interview. It usually is one person but may be a conference type call where they ask you basic interview questions to get to know you a bit better. If you pass this process you will be likely to have a face to face interview.

They will conduct a short interview over the phone. They basically ask the same questions as they would in a formal interview. It is kind of like the first interview, if it goes well, they should call you for a formal (in person) interview. Good luck!!

It means they will be calling you on the phone to conduct another part of the interview process. Usually you will be on a speaker phone and there will be several people from the company listening in on the conversation. Just consider this a face to face interview and conduct yourself accordingly.

They'll be asking you about what you've done, verify the information on your resume, that sort of thing. A big part of this is how well you communicate so make sure you speak on a land-line and have no background noise.

It is a preliminary interview, they will ask basic questions about your qualifications for the job. It is simply the first step in the process, and they will determine from your answers if you make the cut to speak with the hiring manager.

That means simply that you are now at stage 2 or number next/ of their hiring process. this is a good thing, tehy will probably be more testing your speach,co-operation and ability to comprehend/ respond accordingly. SO think before you speak ask for clarity if you need it . Best advice? be yourself and go for it, best wishes ~
