So I have three Tatts. I love them and they all mean somthing to me. How is it that people say they are trashy? What makes undergoing pain and passion trashy? Plus when i grow older I want to look back on my youth and think what a great time I had.

So People who don't like them, what is your reasoning?

People who do have them, why do you like them so much?

Love to hear everyones answers!

It is a choice and for me a lifestyle and how I plan to make my living. Not only a career but a passion. I understand why people would NOT want to get them, pain, social reasons, professional reasons, religious. All that I understand and accept. Some are trashy some are classy, fun, artistic, meaningful. We were given choice over our lives and bodies. This is my choice and I am at a age where I can live with them. I am proud of the art and the work I have. And I am equally proud of people who realise tattooing is not right for them.

Most tattoos on girls are trashy ! Remember, they are forever and what may seem cool today, will definitely not be decades if not a few years later. You have to live with that. Think of all the fashion items in the past 20 years and look around . . .are there any of them here today? NO . . .and neither will tattoos. Years ago, tattoos were on convicts and criminals . .. it still has a lot of that stigma. Go into a strip bar and look at all the girls dancing and striping. Most if not all have a tramp stamp or tattoo somewhere else. Do you want to be part of that? The only classy tattoos I seen on girls were small ones that meant something and put in an area not normally seen ie: a girl that did ballet had ballet slippers on her side just under her panty line. . . that is classy !

Patriot Self Defense system succeeds for 2 main reasons. The initial is that it make use of straightforward actions incorporated from all the best fighting styles out there. The 2nd is that the makers of this program really did not stop there, they took these steps right into the lab and ran all kind of scientific tests to generate as much data as feasible prior to setting to function to analyze this information and put together a clinical established protection system that quite honestly changes the industry.

Neither of the two. They're part of your personality and point of view. I have one on my back. I love it because it's the sun on the foreground and the clouds at the background...to me it symbolises a positive attitude towards life, that the sun will always come out and we need to stay positive. Something which helped deal with my brother's death a few years back. As for those people who say it will look terrible when you get old...are you really sure you're gonna get that old? We do take life for granted, don't we? Try saying that to me, my brother was 18 when he was killed. I don't take life as seriously as many people do...life is a journey, enjoy it while you're here...don't let any lame people tell you tattoos are trashy...Do you think Angelina Jolie is trashy? Lmao.

Blessings~!

I don't like them because they are way too permanent. It costs a small fortune to have one removed if you decide you don't want it any more. A person should never get a tattoo just because it's "fashionable". There are few things that are uglier than a tattoo on an old person. Now, at the ripe old age of 65, I am grateful that I never gave in to the temptation to get one. I did seriously consider it at one time. Also, until this tattoo fad hit, the only people who had them were ex-convicts, gang-bangers and sailors. Except for the latter, not the kind of image you wanted to project. If you need a tattoo in the future to help you remember your youth(or your youthful indiscretions), your brain would already be gone.

Agree some are trash. I see young women with some really bad ones (must have been done by boy friend) anyway others are nice but what gets me is that a lot of people have them and they're not cheap but yet in a store they pull out a food stamp card to pay for food. When ask about the tatoos they reply just got it it cost me $350 and I think and you are on food stamps.

what people choose to do with their own bodies is nobody's business but their own. Yeah some people have trashy tattoos but I don't judge them for that. If that is what they decided toput on their body then go for it. I too have 2 tattoos but are not noticable because my clothes hides them. I will be getting another tattoo next year across my lower back and that will be of and Egyptian Princess stretching her winged arms out. Really pretty and I feel it will look classy. No nakedness just a princess. Andin summer time when I am out swimming and someone makes a rude comment about it, you can bet I will tell them right where to go and if they dojn't like my tattoo then don't look. To me it tells some things about myself my likes. My other tattoos are one with a heart attached to a sting and the other is a small rose with it's pedal. I like Egyptians, big cats, roses and hearts, to me that descirbes my personality and if I like it that is all that matters.

Tattoos are supposed to be a form of self expression. So if you see yourself as trashy, then your tattoos will be trashy. If you see yourself as expressing your inner beauty on the outside, then it is not trashy. It is other people who think tattoos are trashy, and that is only because they insist on judging everyone else around them. People who criticize tattoos are ignorant of what modern body art is, they are set in their own little ignorant world.

I don't have a tattoo but want to get several. My boyfriend has a tattoo on his arm of the numbers 797. It's the day and year his brother died. That 's his way of honoring him. I think it's great that your tattoos mean something to you. Tattoos are a way of expressing yourself and you individuality. Although people will argue that millions of people have them so I can anyone person commend themselves for being individual. All tattoos are different and mean something different to the person that had it done. People who think they are trashy are just afraid of people who are different then them, it's there own insecurities. Hopefully I'll get up the nerve to get one done someday, but like you I want them to mean something to me.
