I CLICK YES BUT THEN I GET ANOTHER WINDOW SAYING THE FOLLOWING: windows cannot start the windows firewall/ internet connection sharing (ICS)service.

you need to download spybot update it and run it in safe mode you have a nasty little firewall disabler

Just install either the Comodo Firewall or the Sygate Personal Firewall. They are both free.

Windows firewall is NOT enough. You have to use another one like Zone Alarm.
