You like work. Your job has many people that you can talk to. There are things to do at work that you cannot do at home. You have more conversations with different people. At home, however, nothing is new. You come home to the same thing and the same people. It is kind of hard to stand after a while because you know that there are things you could be doing that you are not.
Try changing your routine every day. Buy something new that .can only be used at home. Give yourself something to look forward to

You feel happy at work because you feel 'home' there. You get p*ssed off at 'home' because it only a house and not a home.

Home to me is a place that I will miss when away. Home is a place that I will look forward to after a tiring day

This is a bl**dy good question 'cos I know what you mean. Perhaps it's 'cos we expect to get home, relax, and have a nice time. The reality being we get home there's just as much work to do. Even being talked to by the missus can be irritating 'cos I just want to switch off and not talk to anyone for a while. Also - do you have far to journey to work? Driving seriously gives me stress and puts me in a bad mood, although it can be eased by some damn good music or a good joke on the radio.

Do you feel bored at home? Often when your bored or have nothing to do, stress rises and mild depression sinks in. Try to keep yourself occupied, try music and a sudoku puzzle when your bored. Also, something to look foward to when you come home is good, like a good book or a tv program. Try it!
Best wishes

Maybe you are "expected" to be happy and cheerful at work and then when you come home you can just chill without putting on an "act"

Maybe there is some sort of stressful situation at home that you don't want to deal with and don't have to when you are at work. Maybe you feel that sense of accomplishment and you like it at work and you don't get that at home. Last, maybe you just love your job and don't want to leave.

Perhaps at home, they are treating you as a child.
Perhaps at work, they are treating you as an adult.

I still hear Dr. Phil saying.....we are treated the way we teach others to treat us.....

so perhaps you take on a different role at home.....where you are most real.....perhaps you think you'd be better off living alone...and once you are alone...then who can you blame for being p*ssed off? Think~

Because maybe your job is unfulfilling to you, and you may be happier having a job where you have achieved something, or accomplished something, at the end of the day

I never have home work balance either. I'm either happy at home or at work - never both. Balance comes in time...

Because you're fulfilled at work and not at home.
With work there is 'structure', achievement and 'society'
but home there is just the TV and t'internet. I don't know,
but at least you spend more of your time at work than
at home...
