Has anyone watched Martha Stewart Living show on NBC - daily to see a link in the way she not intentionally, but does cut off the guests on her show when they talk for a prolong of time? I wonder if that's Martha's personality? For me, I was taught to let the other person finish what he/she is saying completely before cutting or jumping in to say to what he/she was saying. What do you guys think?

I've noticed it. That's why I've stopped watching the show. I think it's really rude and she acts like she's above others. If you notice on other talk shows, they only cut the guest off to go to a break. Martha does it all the time.

Nope, think of it this way....she must have an agenda or she can't have all of her guests there, and can't accomplish all that she is set to do.

What you don't see is her producers behind the cameras giving her the cut off signal, and she is solely responsible for her show. When you see a show is cancelled, you only hear who's show is cancelled, not the producer or writers etc.

Every show has to be like that for the tons of commercials too!

I think, like the majority of america that she's an evil ho fo sho. She does it intentionally and it's very rude. I would love it if one of her guests got sick of it and went off on her. I'd buy that episode on DVD!

i haven't had the displeasure of watching her show, i'm at wotk when it's on, but i'm not surprised at all. she's got that type of personality where she has to get the last word. she has never appeared, to me anyway, to be a very polite or patient person-not when dealing with people anyway.

she's rude, she acts like she's the only one who knows how to do anything.
