there is an astrologer who says that due to some unusual planetry
configuration there has been an unusual positive effect on earth starting from 30 OCT 2006 and people all over the world will feel more relaxed and positive so my question is to all of you that have you felt any UNUSUAL positive or negative changes in your life after 30 OCT 2006.

Astrology has a very poor track record of being both specific and correct in the predictions it makes. This is a good example: What is meant by "an unusual positive effect on earth"?

Every day, there are plenty of unusual good things that occur and unusual bad things that occur, as well as an enormous number of ordinary things. If the global suicide rate decreased by 0.5% in a certain three-day period, would it or wouldn't it be "an unusual positive" occurrence? How about 0.2%, or 10%?

Also: Suppose a lot of people gave you "Yes" responses to this question. What would you infer?

It may well be that a majority of people who take the time to respond to your question are predisposed to identify and talk about an unusual thing that happened to them, but a vastly larger majority who had nothing unusual occur to them recently (as usual) will probably not bother to respond at all, since they won't even see the question.
