I don't know what to do about my roomate he is a nice guy and him and my husband get along well but OMG I am so sick and tired of having to pick up after him. I let him stay becaues he is really good with the kids and babysitts at a moments notice. I have told him several times that he has to pick up his stuff because my 2 year old will get into it. I feel like I am talking to a brick wall when I am talking to him. I work nights right now and I then I have to come home and look after my 2 month old baby girl through out the night don't get me wrong I love looking after her wouldn't trade her for anything in the world. Then my son gets up at 7 am on nose every morning. How do I get it across to him that he has to clean up his own mess with out having to kick him out?

Threaten to kick him out. When you put an altimatum on the table, he's more than likely to take the easy way out to avoid more hassle. Either that or start charging him for your maid services. Put that money back and take the kids out to chucky cheese. However you deal with it, make sure it sticks. He's a grown man, he can take care of himself-you're not his mommy.

Has your husband spoken to him yet? How old is he? Sometimes people take a long time to grow up.If he keeps it up tell him youre ghonna start tossing his stuff in the yard.He will get the message then.

have your husband speak to him.Or take everything you pick up and pile it next to his bed or on his bed and close his door when he is tired of the filth he will pick up.I know its hard with kids because you cant not pick up due to their well being.Thats a hard situation, but if he doesnt shape up you will blow a fuse and he will figure it out for sure.
