Neither! People under estimate the importance of sex in a marriage. It can help build a solid foundation or destroy everything. Almost 90% of the questions on here have to do with sex. To wait is old fashioned. I want to know what I'm buying!

if you can wait then i think you should. the anticipation makes it all the better. but these days it isn't even really an option. people always use the excuse that they want to know what they are getting before they get married. the sex can be excellent and the marriage still not work out so whatever you do make sure it's what you want with no pressure involved in your decision

Most defiantly you should have sex after marriage. God said any sex outside of marriage is a sin. He design us to have our own husband and wife. If we commit sex outside of marriage we open the door for many troubles in our lives. When we do it Gods way we are blessed. He will teach us how to live a godly life married. So know that it is wise to wait until... God bless you.

Marriage, because he can get the ring back pretty fast and leave you if you are engaged. If the guy marries you then he is serious because so much money and time evolved.......also friends and family come along and it's harder to get a divorce and if it happens, you get half of his money and assests. So definetly marriage, I learned the hard way.

Truthfully, you have no idea the difference it would make to wait until after marriage.I didnt and wish I had. There are alot of people who feel the same way.You need to have someone that appreciates that and doesnt push. That shows you that you are worth waiting for.Stick to your guns. Its worth the wait.
But I wonder does it make a difference whether who you are with is also waiting until marriage?

I don't believe in pre-marital sex. So, after marriage means after marriage. If I'm engaged, I might do some naughty things with my soon-to-be wife, but no intercourse until marriage.

Neither. If I were mature enough to know that i was in a relationship with a person of integrity and that the relationship had potential, I would have sex with him. In case you are a very young person, wait until you are old enough to trust your own judgment and no longer feel the need to check with on line advice.

It depends upon what you base your moral compass on.
If you are more inclined to follow society's norms, then probably "everything goes".
But if you have very strong Spiritual background and pleasing God is foremost, then abstain until your wedding night. It is suggested in the Bible to marry rathar than to "burn with passion".
So, it's up to you, depending upon what you can live with. Speaking for myself, I wish I'd have waited until my wedding night... You know what's the right thing to do.

I was engaged. If I could go back and do it again, I would have waited until I was married.
