Yeah, executing Children is really tough to support, even if the kids were horrible hell-spawn. I mean, no one executed Mary Bell, and that was back when capital punishments were carried out usually within a year or 6 months.

Maybe first time offenders can be rehabilitated better than hardened serial killers. Kids are easily lead astray and that represents a lot of juvenile offenders who would be put to death.

I agree with the ban.

I would agree with the Supreme court on the issue of banning capital punishment for those under 18 but i would encourage retroactive abortion for any one who commits murder under the age of 18.

I used believe in capital punishment but after
what we found out later it was used for too
many different reasons other than justice,
I changed the way I think about it when I see the wrong man is accused just to cover up .
Today we're in a dilemma we don't know
who to trust ? can any body trust the leadership ?

No I don't. I support capital punishment. Not in the spirit of revenge but so they can't do it again. And I think that cop killers should go to the head of the line.

yes. i would agree with a decision to ban capital punishment altogether. it is not a right or duty of the state to murder its citizens.

No, if it's murder, rape or what ever the victims aren't less dead or traumatized if the perpetrator is under 18....For me, if I was 18 & going to jail for the rest of my life I would rather be dead.....but I do believe the appeals process should be shortened significantly!

It's a matter of international treaty, observed by nearly every country of the world -- except Iran and Saudi Arabia.
