My nephew had to deal with this situation a few years ago. He was truthful with his criminal record and did have some difficulty finding a good job. He had to start work at a level that was normally reserved for persons with less experience. He didn't let his felony record become an albatross around his neck, he put it behind him, acknowledged it when he had too, and worked hard and smart and rose to better positions in the company.

Yes there are some, but a word of advice, be up front with them about your past, and begin from there. No sense in long into a long drawn interview, and then find out that they don't hire ex cons.Just keep looking in the areas which you wish to work.
