Well, the food is grown, some of it is distributed here, most will go elsewhere abroad.

However, elsewhere abroad will also be growing food, and for some very odd reason, sending theirs to us.

Why dont we, keep our food here, and let the others abroad keep theres, and save a fortune in time money and carbon emissions, whilst driving the food to and fro.

Mostly - food in UK is grown - then transported to huge logistics warehouses and then transported around the country to major supermarkets.
