I have heard about this being associated with Aquarius (my sign), and I think I might display this, but I'd like someone to clarify it for me please.
I know that when I do something nice for or helpful to someone it makes me feel useful, happy and productive, so I do this very often.

Ahhhhhhh...I'm an Aquarian too...and yes we like to run and play rescuer...and fall for that victim mentality everytime.
We are the most humane of all the signs and thus like to pitch in a hand to help the greater good. Whether thats in people or in service.
We can also become so overly devoted to a "cause" that we will drive ourselves to complete exhaustion.

What it means is that Aquarius are so good at helping and like to do it so much that they can "over" help and end up putting themselves out. Thats what they mean by syndrome. That sometimes Aquarius put others before themselves and it can cause ill effects for the Aqua person.
Dont worry I'm a Pisces and I have the "too trusting syndrome"

the road to hell is paved with good intentions. many AQU like to help, but don't always know how. end up messing up the situation more than it was to begin with. like as in a sitcom. I have a sister in law who is always sticking her nose in and inadverantly messing up the situation by being a dumbas, she is AQU.
