Learn English first. This is the first stepping stone. Without the country's language, you are eliminating a whole lot of chances for making new friends.

The best way, is to never let them know how you feel. Until you know how they feel on any given subject.

Being open, honest, and meeting new people. Get out more and mingle instead of sitting. You can't be shy either, or you will definitely loose out. Also, easier is how it should be spelled.

Ask them first every time and open up new topic, that way they are going to think that you're cool...
But some people are just jerk that they just make you look stupid even thou you just want them to be your friend.
It happen to me gal.........

easier and....i just start talking to random people at concerts or parties and figure out if we have things in common, eschange #'s and go fromo there. good luck
