Isn't it strange that in every culture there are stories about dragons even if the cultures never met?
How do you explain that?

What the????? The Bible mentions dragons??// OK sorry about that one, anyways. Fantasy is same no matter where you go. Every mind in every country, fear along the same lines.Snakes spiders etc. So I think it would be common for that line of thinking. I think it is more likely that explorers and adventurers spread their tales from their homelands abroad. Notice that the dragons of the Mayans and many South American cultures resemble the dragons of the East. I believe that the Asian sailors of old probably have sailed further than most everyone gives credit for. So for my explanation I offer this...... Traveling Salesmen

There is a difference between the Eastern dragons and the Western ones. The Asian people say that the World was created by a seven headed Dragon. while the CELTS worshiped them as ancient and wise creatures.
The Church believed in them and knights went out looking for them to kill the race off as the Church believed them to be servants of SATAN (YAWN).
If any are left on Earth the have gone into hiding or to the star sign of DRACO their home world.

I wouldn't say EVERY culture has dragon stories. What about the American culture? No dragons.

Me personally, I don't think EVERY culture has dragons. Here, the Asian ones are so darn different than the others, I'm not even sure WHY they're also called dragons. -_-

I'm pretty sure that dragons were invented by the Asian culture, and spread through trade routes and was eventually altered by the countries they arrived in.

To me, that means that they had to exist at some point. Then when the Church came into existance and told people what to believe and what not to believe becasue it was sinful, those creatures then went into "hiding" so that only the very openminded could see them. Such as children who haven't been jaded by adult teachings yet and those who are intune with supernatural.

Could mean alot of things....Up to and including, that maybe all of the Dino's didn't die off, and some might have survived long enough to interact wih man.

More than one of the old stories about weird critters sounds suspiciously like dinosaurs and their ilk...

Cuz true dragons had wings - thus they traveled a lot. There are just some places that they did not 'want' to visit, therefore, they were not seen (US).

I believe that dragons and dinosaurs are the same thing and they did exist. It even mentions them in the Bible.
