Based on what my dr said my date of conception was June 11. He based it off ultrasound. When would my partner and I had sex? How long can sperm fertilize an egg? I know I ovulated on Sept 8 because I had pains..

you would have had sex any where from hours to 3 days before the 11th. so... also know that ultrasounds are not accurate by the day... they can be off days, even weeks.

Sperm can live inside a woman for 6 days and once the egg is released the sperm have up to 24 hours to catch it and fertilize it. So, you could have had intercourse anytime from Sept 2nd through the 8th.

Date of conception is usually 24-72 hours after intercourse, but you can ask your doctor this also, along with any other questions you have regarding your pregnancy and conception
