I just recently moved to San Francisco and I am finding it hard to make friends...My co-workers are as old as my parents so hanging out with them is not too much fun...I am going crazy not being able to meet new people...I had a lot of friends back in Utah and I miss them a lot...I love it here in San francisco but no place is good without friends.

you have to get out there and find friends. clubs and bars are the best place to start and if it goes wrong you can drown your sorrows too.

I feel the same way. I haven't had good friends since high school (5 years ago), except I've lived here for a long time!! But I work with a bunch of old people and it's hard to make friends in college. And I have no idea how to make friends...it's SO difficult.

go to local coffe shop or pubs, introduce urself by asking for something, try to extend it........it will be much better if you join a group of people.
