what do you want to get from learning at the college?for what reasons?

I like being in college, because of the supportive environment. It seems better for me to be in school while I'm jobless than not. Several people have encouraged me to continue my education, so I need to do good at school since I'm doing this for the future anyway. Actually, I applied for one of their job openings at the college I go to, but I haven't received a call.

Sometimes I feel like my college education is worthless, since I've been unemployed for almost 2 mos. and trying to find a new job. I even tried to apply for a job that only required high school education w/ zero experience, but did not receive any response. In this case, the employer preferred someone with certification like CNA etc...Perhaps, the employer found a candidate who had that certification, thru a referral.
