is it good?

Hate it, don't use it...just peek at my girls from time to time to see what's up with people we know.

Myspace is somehow very addicting. That's why I deleted mine. It is fun to meet new friends and comment their pictures or their blogs, but isn't that messed up when you're commenting strangers? I'm a teen, and I know that every single friend of mine has a myspace, but somehow it addicts you, especially when you're browsing different profiles and you naturally learn about people you don't know. So I guess it's not good, but not 'very bad' either. Though, it is a risky thing if your profile is set on public.

when myspace originaly aired they had a thing on there that said "i am 18 or older" and you had to check that before you joined. i dont know what happened since then cause it seems that everytime myspace hits the news its because a minor was being solicited for sex by an adult.
i dont know what that means to tell you the truth. does that mean that myspace is now open for everyone or is it still 18 and over only. i know that minors are on myspace but thats not "toms" fault thats parents fault right?
i love myspace but i only use it for friends i dont go around asking people i dont know to add me as a friend. minus of course bands i add alot of bands so that i can listen to there music.
anyway thats what i think.....its good

It really wouldn't be that bad if there weren't so many stupid 14 year old girls trying to 18 and so many sick older men who want to prey on them. I personally have a site and only put ppl I know in real life on my friends list and my profile is set so that only ppl I add can see it. It's a great way to keep in touch with my friends since we are military and move around and most of my friends are college level so they're off at school.

It's good in some ways and its bad in some ways like yes it does help old friends keep up and it helps people get closer together. But the bad part is its a good place for child predators. But all in all if you don't go around saying your name and age and where you live then I think it's pretty safe

I think it can express more of your true personality that has been overlook by your peers -- if you're honest but I doubt anyone is completely 100% on their profile. Networking online will enhance the interactions of your relationships OFF the computer so it's a good tool to use. But networking online seems so fake to me. I'm totally old school with meeting up with people & talking on the phone.

I like it. I was opposed to it at first because it was the "popular" thing to do. I thought it would fade away and would be a waste of my time. But i gave in and i love it. It is a way to stay connected to my friends all over the country because they moved away to college. Also, you can send out party invitations and things of that nature. It is a good way as well to learn more about your friends. Usually they post surveys about themselves and you can see picutres of them and see who their friends are. It is a great system. Will be around for a long time

Myspace- I had an account, canceled it after awhile. It got old. To many people wanting to be your "friend" just to up their friend list as if it were a competition. I don't think kids should have Myspace accounts, posting personal info, pictures etc... Just invites trouble.

i think its crap. back in the 90's i had something called geocities from yahoo. you could have as many pages as you wanted as long as you didn't go past your memory limit which was about 2 megabytes. that was free. you could pay $30 every month for another 2 megabytes. i don't think geocities exist any more and if it does it probably cost money
