Senator Barack Obama attends Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago when he isn't in Washington DC.
Maybe you should check your facts and no assume.

Obama is a member of the United Church of Christ. That's OK.
However, he is a STANDARD Democrat, anti-gun, pro-abortion. As junior senator from Illinois, he can't be voted OUT until 2010, and because of the power of the corrupt Chicago Democrat political machine, the citizens of Illinois (and all Americans) would probably just get another Democrat, but a worse one.

he's very scary....read his bio and he's more liberal than howard dean ! he supposedly is a member of chicago's trinity united church of christ but his parents were muslim and he went to a muslim school for two years. to me its not so much about him being muslim as it is his extreme liberal views. the scary part is dem's and rep's alike are falling for him hard, he makes up a nice package, aspiring and successful, handsome young black man, quite and reserved but inside that neat little package is an extremist.

My concern is that he, as any other candidate, would have the right attitude with which to reunite or country and bring peace to the world.
Bush has turned America into a war-mongering police state. it will take someone with a lot more intelligence, patience, and diplomacy to return our nation to the world leader and global peacekeeper it was before Bush screwed up everything. -RKO-
