I'm gonna say The Bulls with the defence of Ben Wallace are in good shape.

The Bulls definately have gotten better overall with the addition of Ben Wallace to an already sound defense. But they are still young and don't have many players on their roster with playoff experience.

The Pistons have lost Wallace, who for 4 years has been their identity. Sure they have Chaucey Billups, Tayshawn Prince and Rip Hamilton, but losing their defensive presence in the middle and adding Nazr Mohammed to the team has reformed them as a running team.

The Cavaliers are my pick to win the Central. They have the same starting 5 from a year ago and if Larry Hughes and Zydrunas Ilgauskas can stay healthy, then a championship run is definately in the cards for them. Remember, they have the King... the best player in the NBA.

Cavs- 57-25
Bulls- 54-28
Pacers- 48-34
Pistons- 44-38
Bucks- 42-40

Once again, all Central teams make playoffs.

No, just because the bulls have big Ben that don't mean nothing. La'Bron James and the cavs will win the Central La'Bron is and will be the best ever player to pick up a basketball go cavs.

As a Bulls fan, i am pulling for them as well. However, the Cavs are going to be great this year too and will give us a run for our money. The Pistons though, I don't think will be quite at the level of the Bulls or the Cavs. I don't think they have enough peices anymore (no Big Ben), and they won't do as well.

I would have to say the CAVS. in the most straight forward answer.

Cavs have the same team with a healthy hughes and king james as their star

Detriot has lost their toughness in the middle but are still poised to win 50 games with all of their experience as players and as a unit

Bulls added big ben, but still haven't answer the question who else but gordon will put up numbers consistently. they just added to thier already steller D and big ben isn't what we say offesive minded.

Bucks are a young group of players but with redd charlie V and bogut are playoff bound

the pacers have got the size, but jermaine cant do all the work night in and night out

so cavs win but the order is this

cavs
pistons
bulls
bucks and pacers will fight for this spot

all teams make playoffs the central is that good

Bulls with the new faces (Ben Wallace, Tyrus Thomas, Thabo Sefolosha, Viktor Khryapa, Adrian Griffin, P.J. Brown, Andre Barrett, and Martynas Andriuskevicius) and the old ones, they will dominate

i think of the Pistons will win it, in spite of the indisputable fact that it is going to be a fierce conflict interior the 2006/2007 season. New Jersey, Washington, Cleveland, and particular Chicago are all going to be greater. i do no longer think of the Bulls would be as progressed as you do, nevertheless. undergo in concepts, they in basic terms somewhat made the playoffs final season. And as sturdy as Wallace is, Chicago shouldn't bounce from an 8 seed to triumphing the branch. it is going to additionally take time for Thomas and Sefalosha to advance, and the team to type chemistry.
