You are growing up! You are discovering new interests and disinterests (like your addicted bf). Keep looking for those interests and when you find a couple you enjoy, dive into them. Your happiness will come from doing things you enjoy. Leave the things you dont enjoy or are disinterested, they will only keep you sad and de-motivated.
Life is far from over!

It seems like the teenage years have hit. Don't be alarmed. They hit everyone. When the body begins changing from being a child into being an adult, what seems like strange things happen inside. The hormones have started to flow and your body wasn't exactly ready yet. Not to worry, with time, things will get their perspective back and things will run smoothly once again. I would suggest that maybe you see your doctor for a check up just to make sure everything is OK and running right. There could be another reason things seem out of whack, but I don't want to worry you or go into them here. You should also go see a teacher or a counselor you can trust or a pastor at a Bible believing church for help in dealing with the changes going on if things keep on going like they are now.
You should dump the druggie guy like he was a hot burning log. Such a person will only drag you down with him and cause you a world of hurt. Attend a church youth group and you will find friends who will be able to relate to you and help with these kinds of things. Plus, most of the young people I know at church aren't into drugs or other stuff that would destroy your life. Who knows, you just might find a guy who is the one you have dreamed about all your life and, well, you can imagine the rest.

Chick, being one who has survived the teen years, my prayers to you. It seems that kids your age go through stages, and it may be just how you are interpretation things. I would deff ditch the boyfriend who is hooked on drugs. Love is an awesome thing and it is a terrible thing, unless he is willing to get off drugs, you don't need him in your life. (No, I don't know you nor know what you need/want, but I am just telling you FROM EXPERIENCE it is more heartache than it is worth) School is boring, yes I admit, maybe you could look into skipping a grade, because kids who are usually bored are way ahead of their classmates.
Lastly, the answer to life's problems is summed up in God, Seek Him, please.

Sweetheart, you have the teenage blues! We all go through it and trust me...it will pass. Just keep yourself busy with fun things and your schoolwork. Don't let the little things bother you.

the only person that really can help you - yourself. God is willing to change us but are we allowing Him to, let alone allowing Him to be in our life?
