They are talking about one now, but it seems too difficult. What about the government taking a certain amound (15-20%) from your income and leaving it at that. No matter if you are married, have kids, or are rich. Hence a person who makes $100 a week will pay the same percentage, but a smaller amount that someone who makes $400. If you choose to have 4 kids, then that's your choice. You shouldn't be rewarded for reproducing.

Plus the illegals who get a paycheck will have it taken out of theirs as well. None of this not filing taxes at the end of the year cuz you won't need to!!!!

Oxymoron? Puleeze? Next time you are driving on a road, imagine it being a dirt road. Do you think we shouldn't pay taxes? How do you think you have firemen, policeman, etc?

people get paid cash now probably don't pay taxes anyway.
Why do so many people think tax isn't fair. Yeah, let's try that for a while and see how you like driving over potholes, having your house burned down, no traffic lights, etc.

It works for those receiving a paycheck but what about those who receive cash or regular checks for their services... They still need to pay their share too...
