Yes ours went down and when I tried to phone them I got an automated message asking me to phone a different number.0800169 0169 when I called that it was the NHS 24 SMOKELINE!!!. The girl I spoke to said that they had received dozens of calls from BT Broadband that night. but she did offer to help me quit smoking

I find that this happens occasionally with broadband...some times if you live ruraly it goes on for days..very annoying, especially if you pay for unlimited access...you try getting any sort of compensation. They have you by the short and curly's i'm afraid.

YES! I'm with BT and it's not been working for the past couple of days. I'm currently 'borrowing' a wireless connection from somewhere unknown.

mine never works, unless i want to stay on the telephone for 2 hours with a foreigner that i can't understand, then he can't fix it, transfers me to an american, i get it fixed but am lucky if it lasts a whole day. i said the hell with it after about 4 times of doing this and just stick with my LAN connection.
