Suicide By Hanging?

Question

why is suicide by hanging the most popularly used amongst men, if its so painful?

also, do you die by suffocation (like the feeling of drowning) or is their something else involved? (as i read that it takes around 3 minutes to become unconscious)

I suppose that men want to make sure they are dead when found .. it isn't easy to get the medicatiions needed to take to be sure of a certain death. There is no "pumping of the stomach" .. after you use a rope. I'd never do it that way myself. Not that I plan on ending my life .. I think it would be most painful . When your neck is broken, so is your spinal cord, you can hang there for a while not dead, but non responsive-------the brain is traumatized when your spinal cord is broken--------and then the brain slowly dies.........Most people commit suicide because they are in so much denial or pain that they think they nolonger can
live----------oppurtunitiy is the only real reason alot of people commit suicide by hanging, no gun?, no pills?, no knife? ill hang myself!!!!!!!

don't know but it seems like if you were gonna kill your self it would be better to take the less pain full way

Suicide by any means is the chicken sh!t way out.
Those are the people that can't handle their problems, so
instead of talking to people who can help them they just end it by killing themselves, as long as I'm not near them when they do it, it's cool with me.
