I want to apologize to everyone out there who has had bad experiences with so-called Christians who bash them and constantly tell them to repent or face the flames of hell. I am a child of God--He is my personal Saviour and I believe He came to this world to save us from our sins so we can spend eternity in Peace with Him. HOWEVER---there are so many who claim to hold to these same beliefs yet treat people SO horribly. People see "gay"as being a sin. Well, in God's eyes, every sin is equal. Stealing $20 is the same as killing somebody...to Him. I am SO sick of people assuming that because I am a Christian that I do all those same things. God loves each and everyone of us, and the reason the gay community dislikes most of us is becuase they put us all in the same category. Don't judge all of us thinking that we are all "gay-bashers" I kick it in gay-bars with my brother all the time...i have the most fun there actually.....So I apologize for everyones stupidity...

wow....i NEVER said God hates gay people....most "Christians" say that, and thats what i'm writing about, how it really pisses me off. There is no "real" question here, but the other day someone bit my head off, assuming that because im a Christian i was going to tell them how "bad" they are...and it hurt my feelings. God is a loving God. Plain and simple. And I wish more people would realize that.

I go to the gar bar with my gay brother. I like going there becuase I dont have to worry about random people getting all up on me. Everyone is nice and friendly and I never feel uncomfortable. I go there with him, becuase he doesnt feel comfortable at "straight" bars or dancing clubs. 2 brothers making out??? Who cares? There is no need for everyone to get all crazy on here. Please. This is just the internet...Everything I say comes from love for EVERYBODY.

Well unfortunately we are bashed by so many christians that we just assume all are the same. I know many christians who have had sex with the same sex. I went onto your section here on yahoo and wow, I thought we were hated. There is so much hate and anger there that it makes it hard for some to even want to be in a religion.

I.m confused. Did you say being gay us no more of a sin than stealing $20.00? And you go to gay bars all the time with your brother, but you're not gay? Is your brother then the gay one?
If neither of you is gay, but you love going there, what's the attraction? You sure as hell like something about watching men dancing and kissing together.

Well now, I thought I'd never see the like. A good honest Christian woman wishes to offer love and kindness as Christ would have and does, and lo and behold, "Christians" come flying out of the woodwork and attack.
Your words were kind, well thought, and are appreciated although you clearly have nothing to apologize for. I understand your feelings in regards to people assuming things about you, but sadly, you are now acutely aware of how life is for gay people. Constantly attacked by the liars and thugs and of course the 'brave' ones like ***********, a little man who if ever confronted by real gay men, would probably run and hide.
Like Sandy said, some of the responses from the "Christians" only shows you what we have known all along, real Christians are as you are, the others are merely false in both their faith and their actions.

Wow...Just....Wow. I'm am aghast at some of the responses you have gotten hon. Please take a moment to read them through carefully though, becuase I think I am the first gay person to actually respond. Thank you for your words from the heart. It's sad that everyone has to throw around such hate all the time, I honestly wish that all Christians could be like you - see us as people, as human beings - in love and happy. So you are telling us by your infinite, politically correct, peace loving, wisdom, that God put gays on this Earth so you could party with them and have fun at their clubs. Nice!! Oh yea, apologize for your own stupidity before you speak for everyone else. I agree God loves all people whether they are black, white, homosexual or heterosexual. But he does not approve of a homosexual life style just as much as he does not like it when we steal or murder. People should really be more careful about what they say and all of those Christians who say these awful things do not understand the true meaning of " love your neighbor as your self" God does not call us to judge but to love and make disciples of our fellow brothers and sisters.

Well, I'm Christian and I'm a bisexual transwoman. I know that God loves me...
To the "christians" out there quoting the Old Testiment, let me remind you that Christ came to teach us a better way. He made it real easy for us. He said that we should "love God above all others, and love our neighbor as ourselves". He went on to say that "all else is commentary".
So, instead of filling your life with hate, brother christians, how about you start following Christ's teachings and learn to love one another?

Sorry but everyone else is right andyuo are wrong. besides everyone else doesn't need your apology for them. I am not a christina but Iknow homosexuals are a genetic alration by nature in an attempt to keep certain people from populating or breeding. nothing else.
God is a myth so don't sweat the christian thing.
Also read yuor bible your god says to kill homosexuals not love them. It doesn't say anthing about being gay and stealing 20 dollars being the same. There some thing your god doesn't forgive and homosexuality isone of them.

Honey, I admire your spirit, but your theory is just a trifle off track. Neither God nor a Christian hates the sinner. We love all people. It is the sin itself we don't like. And as to your very last sentence, I do not believe we are actually stupid. You cannot serve two masters at the same time. And if you go to bars gay or otherwise, that in itself is sinning. Get off your judgement seat and attack the problem where you should, at the roots.
