Each member of the arm forces voluntarily enlisted rather than being drafted, like in the Vietnam War. In other words, they made the choice to join free and clear of any government heavy handed efforts.

Get real if it was about oil ..our gas prices would be .50 cents a gallon. It's a war on terror. So my question to you is do you want to fight it here in the US or over there? All the terrorist are flocking to Iraq to fight us over there thats why there has been more activity in Iraq lately. Lets keep it over in Iraq so we don't have another 9/11.

Because heroes volunteer their own lives for ours...In war there are deaths,we call them sacrifices, but every one of those who have died have names & faces & families who love & miss them..War is a necessary evil to maintain the lives we take for granted at times here in the USA...Those who are willing to die for me will always be heroes in my eyes & heart..
