What are some reasons that a piece of art would have been made in Africa?

Obviously different countries and regions have different cultures and beliefs. And each person who comes from a different country has a different perspective. a lot of people like African art just because it tends to use different colors or techniques and even reflect different cultures and traditions. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder, you know.

a lot of african "art" is made using local products that are only available in africa so that would make it know that it was made in africa

There are artists in all countries!
