yes they do....in some states anyway...hours are limited as well as the duties you can perform. different states child labor laws differ. im minnesota 14 & 15 year olds cant work past 7pm, cant work any fryers . cant use the mcflurry machine without a foot pedal. cant go into the cooler or the freezer, cant work the grills,
and mcdonnalds puts a half hour time buffer meaning the send their under agers out by 6:30.

Yes they do. They can only have a certain number of 14 and 15 year olds though.

McDonalds where I work can hire fourteen and half year olds but their hours and duties are SEVERELY restricted. You can basically only do register until you are sixteen......and let me tell you, it is TONS of fun to work a busy weekend lunch with bunch of kids who are not allowed to drop/dump fries!

no they will not hire anyone under the age of 18 now. Because of the heavy machines and the intense hot grease and the labor laws is one of the many reasons why they only hire above 18 years.
