I have a myspace account. I love it, I found friends of mine that live across the country. We can talk, see pictures of the kids all kinds of things. The problem is not MYSPACE. The problem is the people who use myspace to cheat. Myspace is no different then anyother website that allows people to chat. I have met more strangers on Yahoo and talk to them the I have on MYSPACE. my point is don't blame myspace....blame your partner.

I think that you can block websites... I don't know how to do it, but I think that there is a way to. maybe you should try that

My husband and I don't use the myspace. However, my son and his girlfriend use to. It created so many problems. I have to tell you that both of them are gorgeous and their sites were flooded with hundreds and hundreds of people viewing their page. Pretty soon the local guys and gals were sending comments etc...
The jealousy got way out of control and I got fed up.
I went to internet options clicked on the content tab, enabled the ratings , and set the myspace site as a site that is never allowed on this computer. Password protected they are unable to go to the site.
Given the fact that your husband was sneaky about his site. I would block out the site and add the password that only you will know. Everytime he goes to that site he will get a drop down window informing him that the site has been blocked and password is needed. He can't make any changes to the settings without the password.
Make sure you enter the site as www.myspace.com whenever you list it.
Myspace causes alot of problems for alot of people. They try to sugar coat it but unless you and your husband have a shared site then there can only be one intent on his agenda.

I'm dating a guy from Myspace. I would expect that if the relationship becomes exclusive, we would remove our profiles.

I think the fact that you didn't know about your husbands account is a problem. I don't think anything good can come from this.

Were you giving him what he really needed to for him to be happy?
Look deep and be brave when you answer that. If yes then have every right to be mad at him. If not you should be mad at yourself.

Myspace is not the real problem here just a symptom.

technically that's cheating.. maybe not physically, Lets' deal with reality, temptation always arises after awhile and you want to move to the next step which is to actually meet in person, and so on.
I never trust those sights, and I don't become a part of it, because i know where it would lead..
Good luck..

i wouldn't be too happy about that myself.
i don't know anyone who has had their relationship ruined by it, but i DO know a young teenage girl (14) who was molested by a 34 year old man she met thru myspace.

i think of it could.. i've got considered a number of my friends circulate by it.. working example.. jealousy because of the fact of comments made by skill of different women.. etc.. if the two are grown, mature, and sercure adults, then it is going to no longer be a difficulty

I dont like my husband's either. I dont think he used it often though. He signed up to look at someone's page and he seldomly gets messages.

We both had one for a little bit. We just both decided not to be on there anymore. I didnt like it anymore and he didnt like it. Nasty messages were being sent to us. If were married we dont need to look or be on stuff like that. Just talking to him is your best bet.
