Atkins is a wonderful diet. You have to adhere to it though cause if you cheat- you lose. I went from 280 lbs down to 222lbs in just over seven months. I exercised as well and have managed to keep the weight off! My mom also went on the diet and she had a high cholesterol number but it 'self corrected' as the diet said it would do.
Give it a try-- all you have to lose is............ weight! lol

Get on the Atkins Diet. I did and I lost 65 pounds. The first 40 pounds came off in a couple of months. Also, work out.

1-2 hours of working out cardio and weight lifting per day
Eat 1200 calories or less and 20 grams of fat or less total a day
Eat Go Lean bars for lunch
Drink 84 ounces of water a day
For snacks, eat things like almonds, fat free jello...
