Well, carrying a condom in a purse all the time can significantly weaken the condom if it's in there for a while... so it's a responsible precaution, but not incredibly well thought-out.
I think it's a very sexist opinion that women that carry condoms are trashy but men who do the same are not. I've never heard a man that carries a condom in his wallet called "trashy."
Don't judge others.
It's better to be prepared for a situation.

Definately responsible. All these people who say these woman are trashy please get a life!! no one said she was replacing it ten times a day after using them with 5 different men. It just means she is responsible and should the oppertunity arise, she is well prepared. At least if she has protection with her it is less likely there will be an unintended pregnancy

Personally I'd say responsible,prepared and safe.Isn't that what we're teaching our children now adays?
Where's the rules that state only a man can come prepared?
If you're carrying a condom I say more power to you doesn't matter what sex you are.And condoms well they make a difference and carrying one says that you care about You first and him next.Far from trashy...

1 Latex degrades when it is kept in a hot place such as a back pocket
2 You look like a dork when you pull out your wallet to pay for something and there is a big condom ring in it
The woman should carry the condoms!!! the reason being
because in the end she is the one who will determine whether there will be any action on a given evening no matter who carries the condoms.

Assuming she is unmarried: who's digging by her handbag to make the alternative on even if she is an undemanding lay? That guy will be someone now to not sleep with. If i became with a lady and issues grew to change into to sex, i'd be genuine satisfied she had condoms!

Responsible. Many women with steady partners still carry condoms so that they have more options in where and when they have sex. It doesn't mean that they want more options on with whom!
