It's completely natural. By this time, the baby is starting to move down further (towards the exit is what I like to call it). With everything weighing down, and it getting closer to time, you will have some discomfort.
They actually sell some supports to help lift your tummy up (doesn't hurt the baby) which will relieve some pressure, but at this point, it may be a loss cause since you are so close to your due date.
Just take the next couple of weeks easy. Kick your feet up! Rest! Take advantage of the situation, because you will DEFINATELY need it in the coming months!
Good luck!

Oh girl, I just went through the same thing! My daughter is now 2 months old but I was just about as far along as you when I had the same pain! It scared me so bad. I loved walking but I could only go about 20 minutes without feeling like she was trying to push out! My midwife assured me that it is totally normal. The baby is so big now that they are simply putting lots of pressure on your pelvis. Also the excess of hormones that your body is creating is literally softening your pelvis so that your baby can come through. I know it hurts, but it's a good thing in the long run! It sounds like your body is doing just what it should be. Stay moderately active, eat well and I highly recommend investing in a large exercise ball to sit on and use in the birth if you haven't already. Good luck girlfriend!

Usally means that the babys head is engaged into you pelvis. You are going to feel alot of pressure but it not a bad thing its just the baby and your body getting ready for the big day. They also say that walking in late pregnancy is good gravity is helping move the baby farther down in some hospitals after you go into labor will allow you to walk around to help labor to progress. I say to continue to walk as long as you are not in to much pain this may help things move along faster.
Good Luck and Best Wishes

Wow, your just about due to give birth. See 9 months is the time in which a women carries their child, that is equivalent to 36 weeks. If you are feeling major pressure down there, it is because your child has shifted its head into position inorder to prepare for birth; I would at this time take it very slow, and not try to perform any major movements...........and definitely speak with your doctor...for 38 weeks is about time for you to have your child.
Good luck, and congratulations!!

Don't worry. I weighed almost 200lbs and I was carrying alot of water and I couldn't walk for more than 10 minutes. It's just that you are coming to the end and your baby has dropped and is preparing for birth. The weight distribution is changing that's all.
Good Luck!

Maybe you are over doing it. Now is the time to rest anyway. Save your energy, you'll need it for the baby. Just take it easy. I had a hard time near the end with my second child.

It means you are about ready to pop and everything during this time is just difficult. Take it easy and get plenty of rest after your walks.

That is very normal, your baby has now grown to at least 6 lbs, prob. more your abdominal area is very tight. Take it easy, but remember walking can help bring on labor, so do it in moderation...don't put yourself in pain.
