shading using make-up works if you are in a photo shoot but in daylight looks totally crap.Here are some tips that REALLY work : if you have long hair don't scrape it back off you face,wear it loose and soft. Fringes are a good idea, as they help balance the profile, and I definitely agree with making more of your other features instead. Make sure the rest of your face is welll defined-eyebrows well shaped and dark enough (match to the colour of your hair on your head !) enough colour on your cheeks and mouth to draw attention away from you nose. One last thing-two friends of mine had a nose job, one looks great and the other one looks a bit wel,l bland now-the character of her face has been lost totally

Here is a great tip! Take a lighter concealer then your foundation and run a long strip from the top of your nose to the tip. Apply your regular foundation over it and blend with a sponge if you can. This will make your nose look more narrow.

When applying makeup, make sure you apply your foundation evenly, do not thicken it in the nasal area, you want to avoid anything that may draw attention to it (if that is really your goal here).
