It is like $700 but in the end it is worth it.

I'm sure many people do, and if you can get vegetable oil for free, from a restaurant then the conversion may be worth it. However, if you actually have to purchase vegetable oil, then it is NOT worth it. Cost of vegetable oil from your grocery store is like $8/gallon.

Probably everyone with a fleet of diesel trucks knows about it. IF you have a good cheap steady supply of some type of vegetable oil, and everything goes well in the conversion process, you can get your costs down to around 50 cents a gallon in bulk after your first investment of probably considerably more than $700.

It's a lot to take on really but depending on a person's values and purposes it could be worth it. I can only assume that you are looking to set up a facility in your backyard, right?

Look it up on the net, there are forums about it. I know there are a couple of hippies here in Atlanta that are making the stuff in their backyards and running it in their Mercedes. Of course they do have to do much driving either.

Look it up.
