How about tickets to go see his favorite sports team? Or maybe concert tickets to his favorite band. Take him to his favorite restaurant, or cook his favorite meal (and you can be his dessert). If he's into gadgets, then maybe a gift card to an electronics store.

Hi there...I just had this same dilemma the other week with my husband. And I was totally stumped. As I have gotten older I have noticed that a lot of guys just don't really seem to be into the gift thing. They aren't like us women who get all squealy and giggly when a guy gives us a gift. Your best best is to try to feel him out with comments like what was that tool that you said you wanted/needed a while back? and the such. I had to do three days of asking before I hit on what he wished he had. It was a simple thing too. I made a really nice dinner and had the present there by his plate. When he got home from work it was great just to see him look so startled. Good luck to you and I hope you find him the perfect gift!

Maybe get him a great set of DVDs, get him a huge gift tower of chocolates, well if he likes chocolates. Think of something he has been wanting to buy for a long time that he hasn't had a chance to buy yet. Put a rose in his car, somewhere unusual with a nice card saying how much you love him. It's kind of hard to tell you what to buy for your husband, cause we don't know him, yet you know him really well. I'm pretty sure anything you get him will make him happy and he will for sure appreciate it, good luck!

some things that you seem to consider vulgar are a mans favorite gift. Try a cool hip flask. He may not use it but it's a fun gift.

Actaully, I just did this for my boyfriend. I was going to do something he'd be able to use for work, then I decided to get something for him and I. If you are a woman who wears lingerie, look online for something...maybe? Fredericks.com has a good favorites for 20 section AND some of the pieces donate 20% of profits to breast cancer research!
Good luck!
(I hope this doesn't sound too much like an advertisement, it's more personal experience).

It should be small and thoughtful like maybe a gift certificate for bowling along with his favorite candy bar wrapped up and with a little bow. It's the little things that mean so much.

There is nothing vulger about buying something that would spice up your sex life.
Why would you think a sex toy is vulger. I hope he is happy with you in intimate ways because if not you may find yourself wondering why he strayed from you.

Invite his friends over on a game night, sponsor the pizza and the drinks, get out and have fun with your girlfriends, come home, clean up and give him a good time in bed. Be selfless in the giving honey :)

Make a list of all the things you love about him. I guarantee he'll think of it all the time and it'll bring a smile to his face, and that great warm feeling one only gets when truly happy inside.
