Like a personal experience?? How long did it take the writers to get your story featured?

If what you're asking is about how long it takes once you've been interviewed for it to appear, then it really depends on how often the newspaper is published. A weekly newspaper might work three of four weeks in advance for feature-type stories or first-person accounts, whereas a daily might be working up to one week ahead. It your story is not hard news or about a current topic then it will probably wait for available space and already be planned for a future edition. I hope this helps.

When i was 5 i got my picture in the paper for donating tree's on arbor day to some thing with my grandma. It took a few weeks to get the story out. I wish i still had that clipping

Yeh, it was in my weekly local paper when I abseiled for charity. I sent it to the reporter on Friday, he said that night was his deadline and the paper was out on the Wednesday. Hope that helps.

i had a double page in a magazine once everything went quickly
i had a courier collect my pictures and i got paid as it went to print all happened within a month
