Don't get me wrong but it seems like old WWE wrestlers are turning to TNA on their own. Its not like when WCW tried to get all of WWE's wrestlers offering them a bigger paycheck.. Kurt Angle, Christian Cage, Rhino and Team 3-D were the most recent WWE wrestlers to leave WWE for TNA. Is Vince Mcmahon shooting himself in the foot for letting these big name stars leave him for TNA?

WELL VINCE IS A RING MASTER IN THE LARGEST CIRCUS IN THE WORLD CALL WWE. TNA IS THE FUTURE OF WRESTLING AND THEY HAVE THE CLASS OF PAST FEDS, LIKE AWA, NWA, WCCW, AND WCW. AND TNA USES THERE TALENT ROSTER TO THE FULLEST WERE AS WWE DONT. SO A LOT OF BIG STARS GET PUSHED TO THE SIDE LINE FOR STAR LIKE CENA, EDGE, ORTON, DX AND OTHER WILLE LUNCH MEATS. SO THAT WHY THEY LEFT WWE AND TNA ONLY WRESTLES TWICE A WEEK.

For starters, they don't have to live their life on the road. All shows are taped in Orlando. The only travel they have to go through is for pay-per-views.

Second, it is a much less stressful and more relaxed environment. No dress code. No wellness policy. More control over your style of wrestling. Less constraints.

Third, WWE wrestlers who have seen their career grow stagnant with the WWE see TNA as a fresh start.

Fourth, the pay may be less, but they can make up the difference by touring the indy scene, such as ROH and PWG, whereas the WWE does not allow this. They also don't HAVE to tour the indy's. It is their option if they want to make some extra money.

All in all, it's a much easier way of life for a pro wrestler, and since many wrestlers are fed up with Vince McMahon and Johnny Ace anyway, it's not a hard choice to make. Of course, each individual has their own reasons to add to the ones listed above, but that's a general reason of why TNA may seem like a better choice for many wrestlers.

3 letters... E G O

Vince's ego is bigger than his roid inflated TlTS... He thinks he can do it without the superstars... like he did 10 years ago when a bunch of them left for WCW... the problem is that the young talent hasn't been developed... the story lines aren't there... I mean you can't seriously tell me that Johnny Nitro can carry a storyline... of course not he can barely work a mic... is Umaga going to start speaking english? I hope not...

Vince's other problem is that Jarrett isn't going to sell TNA, so Vince won't be able to buy his stars back like he did with WCW. Most of the roster at TNA hates Vince and wouldn't work for him even if he did buy TNA. Sting and Jarrett would rather not work than work for Vince (which they have both proved). Jarrett makes up for the lower pay by offering an easier schedule and better over-all way of life for the wrestlers.

WWE may be the top of the wrestling mountain, but the mountain's not as tall as it used to be....They will have a tough time reclaiming past heights.

That TNA actually gives more chances at being successful than WWE. It is because the WWE has a tendency to focus on only certain people and shove them down our throats (John Cena and Roidtista) while some of the others have to wait years for their chance at the title that very well may never come. Hell, it took 18 years for a guy like Benoit to win the World Title! Where's the justice in that?! I hope that answers your question.

Angle was shipped off to the fading ECW brand of WWE wrestling before he crossed over to TNA. More than likely, these stars want a bigger role/spotlight and/or more money. Since TNA's roster is nowhere near the size of WWE's, they can get what they are looking for. Not to mention, some of these stars can pull in a bigger audience, like Angle. I'd look for some more to cross over in the near future.

no,Vince Mcmahon is not shooting himself in the foot for letting these big name stars leave the WWE for TNA.....These wrestlers wanted more and i guess the WWE had other plans 4 them ....it was that way when wrestlers went to WCW, certain wrestlers wanted more, wanted to be more of a impact star and tittle holders........there's only so many titles in the WWE that they can wrestle 4........so more opportunities ,more start'em,more room to stay on top.....................there's no doubt sooner or later some of those wrestlers will come back to the WWE...........

It's no mystery that eversince WWE split Raw and Smackdown rosters, WWE's reputation with its new category being Sports Entertainment has not been the same and expectations ought to lower as a whole as far as pro wrestling's TV audience, proof is the colleted data of viewers' ratings.
The environment WWE's vision of pro wrestling has unfortunately been modified to that of the "returning of a soap opera after being discontinued" type of scenario. Keeping it simple: WWE was starting to lose its hype and that goes to today as well.
Wrestlers are human beings such as you and I, they have family, emotions, personal issues and so forth... So correct me if I'm wrong but isn't a person's satisfaction on top of the self fullfilling pyramid of the individual's life? Working for long periods of time and going through all of what wrestlers do puts a barrier between the need for a paycheck versus the incredible insurance of the wrestler's name, the name that shall be remembered by future generations and hits the pages. It's safe to say that shifting employers isn't all about the paycheck when we put a wrestler's crrier under the scope...
Bottom line is that joining the TNA roster seems to be the right thing to do as far as keeping a steady life and eliminating stress on the performers. TNA schedules wrestlers in a more convinient way to meet their need of resting...
WWE fans should listen to me and let's take a stand and fight for a better WWE, in the mean time watch TNA because it is very unlikely to disappoint you! Keep in mind WWE owes you!

its not appealing its the fact that the story lines for the wwe were lame and and vince had no further use for them, with the wwe its about selling a product...wrestling...if they can't sell the wrestler they discontinue him or her and send them out the door, or try to recycle them when the recycling thing dosent work they do a file 13( the trash)
