You think George actually reads all the hate-mail he gets? If he did he'd spend his life with a letter-knife in hand and many, many papercuts.

First, do not even MENTION terrorism or any type of threat. Even if its just to say that you aren't like that. Any allusion at all will be considered a threat upon the system.

In your letter, include only the specifics of what you don't like and why. In the end, say something about how you hope the next president does things differently.

Write it as unemotionally as you can, and be sure you don't outright insult him or threaten him in any way.

Freedom of speech can only go so far. I suppose you could write such letter to the president without getting harass from the secret service but you can't go into the middle of the movie theater and yell fire if there isn't one.

When you write the letter, be sure to use spell checker and spell speech correctly next time. But no, you have a right to write you opinons to the president in this fine country.

You don't even want to mention the word terrorist in your letter.
as long as you don't threaten him or any of his family members
with bodily harm you can tell him exactly how you feel.
I don't want to influnce you not to write him. because being able to write our leaders without the fear of a midnight visit by the feds
is what sets us apart from alot of other countries.
but you should know he'll never see the letter you send

With this current administration I believe that you would have to be very careful in formulating such a letter. All states seem to interpret the law differently. You certainly have the right to do so, but be very careful in the wording of the letter.

LOL, you're assuming the president can read and that he would take the time to read a critique letter. It took him half an hour just to read "My Pet Goat", although in his defense he was handicapped because America was under attack at the time.

You could do it, but it probably won't even reach the President.

But there are some causes that aren't worth free speech such as racisim or homophobic tyrades.

write what you feel before they take that away too.

as far as i'm concerned i will say whatever the f.u.c.k. i want to say

i know this answer will be violated but if you're determined to stick up for yourself you WILL eventually get what you deserve. when this answer gets violated it will NOT be the last time i speak my mind.

i think if nobody was afraid of autority which was origonally meant to help us we can return to the days freedom of speech was freedom to speak your mind

with freedom of speach you are allowed to put forward a point, even one which is unpopular but avoiding the extremes which can sometimes lead on to racism, discrimination etc.
