I'm hurt, I said I identified as "Human" not bi or lesbian. I'm a Mom FIRST and FOREMOST, everything else comes second.

This ought to throw a wrench in the works! I am a gay woman! I don't like the label "lesbian" any more than I like the word "fag**ot". Probably because as an adolescent I was razzed constantly for being a "lezzie". Ick! But I am a human being first, and I happen to be gay.

I am a lesbian. I know, I know... "Labels!" Well, some people feel it helps them id themselves and know what's what with people...
I have been interested and involved with females all of my life. (36 years). I know some people who believe that everyone is bisexual, but I don't. I think SOME people are, some people THINK they are, and some don't know a lot of anything!
Lots of people believe that finding both sexes attractive makes you a bisexual. I don't. To me, I've found that humans are sexual beings, and sexual attraction doesn't really count for a lot in the grand scheme of things. One day we all discover that there's SO much more to identifying ourselves and what gives us staying power in lasting relationships, and that's when sexual attraction doesn't seem to count for as much.
I think it is more a bout where your HEART is and if you're able to really fall in love with both sexes and possible have a deep, connecting relationship with either male and/or female that makes a true bisexual. Most bi's I meet prefer one sex over the other: Nobody likes both the same. The sex and attraction is great with one gender, but the love and connection and sex with the other gender is much stronger. I find that most self-proclaimed bi's typically end up going one way or another because they seem to (usually) prefer one gender more than the other. Besides, most people don't want 3 people in a relationship because they rarely work for very long if they work at all! I don't know YOU, but I'm just telling you what I've seen...
I am a lesbian. We all need to be happy with who and what we are and to respect others even if we don't agree with their lives.
I have a beautiful wife and you'd probably never guess she's gay, either. Don't hate on me - I'm only giving my opinion based on my life experiences and the people I have met. I have nothing against heteros or bi's.

I did answer (that I'm gay, but that I'd been in bed asleep when you posted the question), but my answer was the first on the second page, and it never showed up! (Your question is still in 'My Answers' though. Weird.)
Anyway, I'm here now.
