It the constant gridlock in Washington thats so maddening. All the politicians want is to stay in office. The Democrats fight hard to prevent the Republicans from accomplishing anything just as the Republicans fight hard to prevent the Democrats from accomplishing anything, the result: GRIDLOCK. Nothing is done for the country at all.

No. I care more about my own little life: my home, my family, my career, my hobbies, etc. Why would I care more about the state of the country, which frankly I myself can't change, than I do the things that directly and immediately affect me?

Granted, I'm not saying I don't care at all. But there's more important things on my mind.
