1) Cosby's Humor - I like him!
2) Family values
3) Portrays African-Americans in a normal situation - not the gang-bangers, etc.
4) The excellent acting from the entire ensemble!

I was a little kid the first time I saw the Cosby show and it was a Mom approved show also we we only had about 3 channels at the time.

Holy crap. I just turned on my TV as I was reading your question and The Cosby Show was on that was wierd. Yes I was sorta a fan, cuz of Bill he is funny. But sometimes it's just to wholesome for me

Yes I was. It was funny. I especially like the episode where they sang Ray Charles song Night time is the right time with Rudy leading a part in the song. I believe that was the best of all of the episode.
