Depends on your writing score.
If your writing score is what really pulled up your SAT grade, you may consider retaking it, since the colleges aren't really paying attention to writing scores.
Anyway, according to the collegeboard website, the sats on UC San Diego are thus:
Middle 50% of First-Year Students ------ Percent Who Submitted Scores

SAT Reasoning Verbal: 540 - 660 74%
SAT Reasoning Math: 590 - 700 74%
ACT Composite: 23 - 29 26%

Note those are the middle 50%. That means that there are students with higher and lower scores than those who got into UC San Diego.
I'm sure you're already aware, but UC San Diego requires two SAT II subject tests. I say focus on those instead.

Congratulations on your outstanding scores. I recommend you not take the tests again. Instead, work on the essays for your college applications. Your scores alone will not get you in. You need to be a well rounded student. Are you?

It can't hurt, if you want to go ahead. You might do a little bit better, you might not, but at least you will know you've done your best!! Good luck!

Oh yah, you might want to think about taking the ACT's again, maybe you'll do better there.

I think you should take it as many times as needed to get the score you want.

i dont know how the new scoring is or what they do about the scores. if they keep the best grade from each section then sure, go for it!! just make sure they dont just take the last scores
