Yes, sometimes. But usually these feelings of death anxiety only strike me when I'm hungover after a long night or weekend of boozing.

I think everybody goes through that, at the first realization it's a very frightening aspect. Then you learn to not just not think about it, or deal with it. I think unless you meet an untimely or catastrophic end, the older you get, life seems to somehow prepare you for your eventual demise. If you believe in an afterlife of some sort that may make it easier to accept or in some cases even welcome, or fear more according to the things you've done and what kind of life you've led? But I also believe that no matter what, if given a choice most of us would choose to stay a little bit longer, just another day or two? I know I would...

yeah it really does bother me sometimes... but you really gotta learn how to accept that it will happen and make the best with the time you have here.... I also think, not being religious at all, that when you die you become something greater that what you are here..... and memories never die because every human is made up of energy. Its a proven fact that when you die you instantly loose 2-4 pounds, that is your energy leaving your body it has to go somewhere! also if it bothers you bad enough to get dpressed seek medical help good luck

Yes,I've had.The funniest thing is that I've experienced it at young age-when I was about 7/8years old.I remember running to my mum, crying that I didn't wanna die.Now I'm15and I accept death as a natural part of life-and I don't believe we should try to go against Nature. We're all gonna die,it's inevitable,so I'm interested in living fully and making my life as good as I can, cause I also don't believe there's life after death.I fear pain-we're all quite terrified by pain and the only thing I fear is dying in a painful way-that REALLY scares me!

Yes everytime I think of death I feel very sad which is why I try to avoid thinking of it. Although when I think of it, it really also makes me want to do the things that I haven't yet done (which I can't at the moment so that too makes me sad). Death sucks... it's too bad we have to die.

I agree that that's a great feeling. i do no longer think of that those emotions of happiness have ever made me choose to cry nevertheless. chuffed emotions that make me choose to cry are issues like, while my son does something fairly lovable and invaluable(he's two), or a marriage.

only when they told me i had breast cancer, but after a few days i got over it & decided to live like i had never lived before. now, i rarely think about it, cause i realize there's no room in my life for negativity. Like i tell my kids: life is for living.
