Well, I wouldn't say "dumb" more like confusing. They really need to start answering SOME questions. All we get is more mystery week after week. Why are the others there? Who are they? Why are they holding Sawyer and Kate? What happened to Cindy? Where are the kids the others took? Where are Sun and Jin?
Sooooooooooooo many questions....

I wouldn't go so far as to call it dumb, but Season 3 has been a disappointment so far. The ratings of the show are most certainly dropping so we already know the casual fans are tuning out. I'm hard core but it would be great if they could explain a major mystery at least every other episode. There would still be at least 100 unanswered questions. One thing for sure that's dumb, the introduction of new characters (Nikki & Paulo) who serve zero purpose other than to look good. That's the producers way of saying we are too stupid to get it otherwise.

Starting to? I think Lost has truly gotten Lost. There's absolutely no continuity to the storylines, there are too many unanswered or ignored questions; they put scenarios out there for you to wonder about, then go off on a completely different tangent; personally, since they killed off Eko, next week may be my last week. If they don't give me something to hang on to, I'm outta there. (Besides, there's always HEROES.)

It is not dumb!!! You have to keep watching it to understand it! You can't just quit after the first season!!!

I enjoy it. It's just a big puzzle. Inside a Mystery, Wrapped in an enigma.

I watched the first season but I got all confused on what was going on afterwhile.
I still think it is just some science experiment

I do. There's no way that they thought this show would ever run this long and it's fairly evident that they are now making it up as they go. I am starting to hate Locke's character as well.
