Is your friend athletic? If she is or she is small and thin this could be why...Also when did her mom start??? cause heredity also plays a role... If she is really concerned she should go see a gynecologist and have an exam... Also if she is taking Birth Control sometimes that will make a period not happen... But I wouldn't worry about it....

Nothing's wrong.
My niece has her period around that age.
She's very small which may be a factor, but I'm not sure. So how does your friend looks like?

nothing is wrong! there is not set age for this. i was almost 17. keep in mind i was also not even 70 pds then. she should not have you or anyone else worry her. she is just a late bloomer!
