I am a convicted felon who would like to travel with his family to Cancun for the Christmas holidays. My probation officer is OK with my travelling, but he is not sure about the Mexican law.
Would someone please advice soon? Looking forward in hearing back.

Mexican laws are quite clear, we are not going to judge you for a crime you committed outside our borders, unless your government asks our police forces to do so.

Just two notes:

1.- Bring every document that could help you to proof you are not prosecuted by your country's justice and

2.- Do not listen to those saying you could buy Mexican law officers.

Hope it helps.

it incredibly is going to be as much as the Slovenia immigration and passport administration officers. do you know if a visa is had to circulate into? in basic terms considering the fact which you're a US citizen and has a passport would not assure you front to a distinctive united states, it purely requests which you're taking transport of get entry to and that the guy bearing the record is a US Citizen. terrific to envision previously you get on the plane, no rude awakenings on the different end then.
