The candle on the window
It's burning, almost dead.
The once pale light of moon
Will soon become blood red.
And here we sit us two
So close and yet so far
And silence closes us
Denies us who we are.
I'm searching for your soul
But you avoid my gaze
And clouds now block the moon
And veil her in haze.
Like my heart she is withrawn.
And we both await the moment
So another day can dawn.
