I realise that sometimes we all curse, when we are in trouble,or when we hurt ourselves ...it is perfectly normal(males and females).
But I just heard a young girl of my age cursing-using the curse words instead of commas,I don't like when a man curses but when a girl does it is horrible...and I heard lots of girls cursing when there is no need to.
What's your opinion?

I'd think badly of anyone who couldn't come up with a more coherent and descriptive way of expressing their thoughts. It's one thing to curse when something bad's happened. I do it all the time when I injure myself. But if someone has to resort to crudity to express opinion, belief or feeling, then I generally think the person is uncouth, doesn't think before speaking and probably doesn't have a very good vocabulary to draw from. It's not about gender, it's about how you communicate yourself to other people.

I was raised not to curse. I hear more men do it than women. And at this point in my life, sometimes there just isn't a better word. I usually only curse when I am alone or with my very close peeps.
There is no need for anyone to do it, period. However, sometimes I like to do it because I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO. Sometimes it just feels good to be bad.

My opinion is you have somewhat of a double standard. This probably stems from you still accepting traditional roles of gender (like what it means to be feminine).

This is the year 2006. Wake up and get rid of your stereotypes.

I gave you a thumbs-down because you used horrible grammar, and then claimed something in direct opposition to what you said earlier. You say you are not traditional, but you have the expectation that women should act feminine. That is practically the definition of traditional.

Feel free to give me a thumbs-down in return.

I think that girls who curse are feminine because it is not right to curse because GOD don't like people to curse in this world.
