I can't say anything about Canada in particular since I'm not Canadian. As an American, I think that the fight against the Taliban & Al Qaida is 1 that we must win. If this a lost cause, the world is a lost cause. I refuse to accept that.

Fighting oppression is never a lost cause. We should never lose sight of what we believe in. What would have happened if we had let Hitler do his thing? We were right then and we are right now. Fight for what is right and bugger the do-gooders.
How would they feel if they were forced to live like the people we are trying to help?

Canada is a better neighbor for the United States. I thank Canada for their contributions to Afghanistan War.

It is not a lost cause.
It's vital for the survival and advancement of little children back home.
The mystery of US-911.
Can you reach out and extend a helping hand to come up with the yellow ribbon for them?
Then they should be home by X'mas.
At the moment we don't which X'mas.
But working on it.

Is fighting for something right a loss cause?
Is fighting so the people of that country have a better life wrong
Is preserving our way of life , including the right to question, wrong?

As a Canadian, it hurts to hear when one of out soldiers has been killed. People compare out PM to Bush. What does that tell you?
