since i was a little girl, there has been in some points of my life, where i am in a situation, that is not at all sad, either hanging out with friends, or family and we'll be haveing fun, but all of a sudden, i have this feeling of worry and extreme guilt, that i feel that i want to cry, and i feel scared, and it stays for about 20 or 30 seconds, then i'm normal again, but i'll be feeling puzzeled about what happened to me and why?
i had the same feeling, wheni was breastfeeding both of my kids, so i gave them bottles, because it was so severe then, that i would feel so deppressed and start crying and feel guilty, for no reason at all.
so does this sound familier to you?

This has never specifically happened to me before, but my recommendation is for you to not make it a big deal out of it in your mind. Don't worry about it, and don't let it change the way you do anything, who you spend time with, or anything else. When it happens, just tell yourself, "Hang on, it will pass in 20-30 seconds." If it would help, even start a countdown in your mind, "30, 29, 28, 27 . . . etc" until it is gone. This is not important; it only seems important because the feelings are pretty strong and negative.

Sudden bursts of anxiety can be a reaction to something near by-just a heightened sensitivity. The depression when you were breast feeding was more likely due to a nutritional imbalance. It is a proven fact that pregnant and lactating women don't always get the right nutrition-not necessarily because of finances but weight concerns or just not eating right, add that to increased demands and you have mood swings and in some cases depression. I agree a Dr may be able to help but recommend you see a nutritionist as well. Some real diet evaluation can tell you what you are lacking and fix the problem permanently. In most cases it is a B vitamin but I have heard that lack of Vitamin K is a close second. Consider that there are far less side effects from a diet change than a chemical intervention and with small children you don't want to feel "out of it" like some medicines are apt to do.

My daughter. We tried for 4 years to have a baby. My husband was diagnosed with 6% normal sperm due to sperm shape and we were told that we'd never conceive naturally, ever likely. We were going to break up and get divorced because of that and some other problems we were having. I prayed about it that if it should end, to end it and if not than to do his will. Jan of 2006 we had sex ONCE. On Feb 14 I found out I was pregnant. We had another similar experience in Dec of 2007 too. I have the feeling that this is it too.

Yes, they do sound familiar....VERY familiar. I too have the situation where I may be with friends and family having a wonderful time and then w/o warning collapse into a state of fear and worry. These "mini panic" phases, for me, have been traced to a closed head injury that I suffered almost 20 years ago and which produced my epilepsy. My symptoms have been controlled with medicine
In your case since you seem to have a more intense reaction during breast feeding, it is possible that yours is more hormonally driven. I am no doctor, but it something to discuss with your primary care physician and possible and endocrinologist. God's blessings to you.

i am not a girl so i haven't experianced this myself but i have talked to doctors about this stuff because when i had my kids my wife went through the same thing and from what i have read and been told that some mothers just don't feel comfy breast feeding and there is really nothing you can do to change it and oif you keep trying the baby's can pick up on it and won't feed anyways.

I can recall this happening to me twice in my life. It was kind of scary even. I had moved out of state and missed home so much that I woke up gasping for air one night. Scared the daylights out of me. It went away of course. I wrote it off as a panic attack that I was in fear of never returning to what was once home. I soon realized that was nonsense and that I have complete control of when I wanted to go back. I learned to relax about it and it never returned.

You need a Dr.
we may not b able to answer that for you. It sounds like you need a pro to dig a little deeper in you to find out what may have happen to you at one time that you may have blocked off. Seek a pro if you really want to know. Good Luck

Sounds to me like a form of manic depression. I'd suggest seeing a Doctor.

Sounds like you are suffering from panic attacks. If they are interfering with your enjoyment of life talk to your doctor because there are medications out there to help.
